Sweet Citrus and Mediterranean Blooms

When I won the gorgeous new designer series paper, Mediterranean Blooms, at OnStage in Houston, I immediately thought of one of my favorite stamp sets, Sweet Citrus.  So what did I make?

The background paper is rather busy (but beautiful!) so I added a piece of Vellum cardstock over it to mute it a little.

And check out the greeting:

Did you know you can emboss in all our colors?  I first inked up the stamp with Garden Green ink, and using my Misty stamp positioner, stamped the greeting twice.  Then I cleaned my stamp, leaving everything in place, and re-inked it with Versamark.  Once stamped I added Clear embossing powder and heated it with my heat tool, and voila!  A beautiful, embossed greeting in Garden Green!

And then there's those lemons - OMG, one of my favorite stamp/die combinations!  Inked in Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight, the images were stamped, then cut AND embossed at the same time with the hybrid embossing folder.  Genius!

This card came together so nicely, using old and new.  And I know this DSP is going to become one of my favorites!

Heads up - Sweet Citrus is on the retiring list, so if this is a set you've been craving, don't delay.  It will be gone before we know it!

Country Flowers Sneak Peek

If you've been following my Priscilla's Papercrafts Facebook page, you know I've just returned from a fantastic OnStage event in Houston, TX.  While there I picked up a new stamp and die set, Country Flowers.  I also won a Prize Patrol, snagging the beautiful new DSP, Mediterranean Blooms.  Take a peek at what I've created with these:

I started this card with a piece of the DSP.  The Night of Navy and white pattern is actually the back side of a gorgeous piece picturing lemons.  But I didn't have anything to go with that side yet, so I flipped it, cut a strip that was 3-1/2" x 4-3/4", and cut that into 1-1/4" strips.  These were adhered to a piece of Basic White, and then I ran it through my Cut & Emboss machine with the Perennial Postage dies.

The urn, flowers and stool were all stamped and colored with Stampin' Blends, then cut with the coordinating Country Flowers dies.

I absolutely LOVE that little milk bucket/urn - stamped with Gray Granite and colored with Gray Granite blends, it looks weathered and "country-ish", don't you think?

Country Flowers will be available in the upcoming Annual Catalog.  Want to get your hands on it before anyone else?  Join Stampin' UP! and include it in your Starter Kit, beginning April 2.  The Starter Kit is always your best value - pay $99 and get $125 worth of products and FREE shipping!  And as a "happy shopper" you will always get a minimum 20% discount on all your purchases!  Why not give it a try?

Moody Textures

I've been creating swaps to bring to Houston this week, as I will be attending Stampin' UP!'s annual OnStage event.  This large convention-like gathering will be introducing the upcoming 2024-25 Annual catalog and lots of new products.

Demonstrators from all over the US and Canada will be meeting, and lots of us have made cards to "swap" for samples from others.  Check out this one:

Using the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper dictated my main color of Moody Mauve.   Blackberry Bliss is a perfect complement for a layer and the embossed pot (embossed with the Earthen Textures dies).

I cut a Nested Essential shape with Pretty Peacock and heat-embossed a greeting in Silver.

The pot contains sprigs in Moody Mauve, Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock.  So pretty!

And I finished with some 2023-25 In Color Dots in Moody Mauve.

I can't wait to share the cards I bring back from Houston!
